She's a Freshman!

My baby is officially a Freshman in High School. OMG!!

The bell rang 10 minutes ago and she's done. It's been a busy week! Here are a few photos before the 8th grade awards ceremony and dance.

The kids had a great time at the dance. The awards ceremony before was LONG and HOT!

Poor kids were just antsy to get out of there to the fun!

Allison won an award for good citizenship and for being on the honor roll. Yeah for her!

After the dance, about 50 Hillside students went to Applebees! I didn't pick Allison up until 11:45 p.m. - way too late for mom on a week night! Then yesterday they went to Michigan Adventure all day. When I picked her up last night, the kids were stumbling off the bus, exhausted and sunburnt! But they had fun.

These 8th grade memories will be cherished forever.

Now, mom needs to get scrapbooking these photos!!

Weekend Crafts

So I was crafty this weekend! Lots of jewelry making. Do you like?

Sunday I sat down to create a scrapbook page for the store. I LOVE it!


Saturday was errands and groceries and running Allison around to friends. Saturday night was a birthday party at Main Street and then my bed and book! Sunday I was so lazy, but it felt good. I did get laundry all done, fixed a good dinner and a yummy mandarin orange cake. I also sat on the deck for a couple of hours. My face is red to prove it!
