Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Saturday night's rainbow was unbelievable. So beautiful and vibrant. It stayed out for a long time and once was a double! Saturday afternoon was a perfect beach day! South Haven was windy, wavy and wonderful! Allison and Emily had the best time jumping the waves and Beth and I enjoyed every minute of the sunshine and girl talk!

Headaches and birthdays!

This whole week I've had headaches. It was migraine on Tuesday and sinus Wednesday and Thursday. I think it could have something to do with my shoulder pain too. I had my MRI yesterday morning, but can't get in with the surgeon until July 16th. What a pain - literally!

My birthday weekend is almost here! Of course my plan was a beach day and the weather doesn't look like it is going to cooperate. So, we'll see!

Hopefully next week I'll have some fun photos to post!

Random Photos

Just a few random photos from the weekend!

Saturday night fire and smores! Couldn't ask for a better date!

Me & My hubby sitting by the fire, relaxing on Saturday night.

Yummy, homemade from scratch fresh blueberry muffins for Greg's Father's Day Breakfast!

The quick pea-sized hail storm that went through on Father's Day... just as I was grilling the kabobs!

No Strike

Thank God! We've been worried for weeks that Greg's union would go on strike. Luckily last night they came to their senses and voted not to strike. They signed a three year contact. Whew.

We dodged that bullet but were hit by another. Last night my van overheated. It's leaking something and we don't know if it's the radiator or the motor that is broken. The air conditioning hasn't worked in two weeks and last week the breaks started to squeak. Geez... time for a new car? But I said I'd drive it til it dies. I guess next week we'll know. We had it towed to the mechanic today but they can't look at it until Tuesday. I get to drive the Monster truck for a few days! I swear if it isn't one thing, it's another. A day with no stress would be so delightful!

I'm cooking dinner for my daddy for Father's Day. I think I'll make kabobs on the grill. He should love that. Greg doesn't know what he wants to do, so I guess we'll wing it.

I'm so glad it's FRIDAY!!!

Visitor

Check out the visitor to my yard! I just love living in "the country"!! The big joke in our house since we are hardly in the country, but the wooded lot brings lots of wildlife!
