I Have Nothing to Report.

I'm sorry. I want to blog. I just don't have anything exciting to blog about!
Allison is in Cedar Point with friends. I bought a new dress last night for an upcoming wedding. The deer have been in our yard every day. I'm getting a hair cut and color on Friday. It's been raining and storming a lot in Michigan. I wish I was home napping, scrapping or even cleaning instead of at work. We are taking my dad to Red Lobster for dinner tonight as his father's day gift. There. You are all caught up on my life! Nothing exciting. I told ya!!

President Obama's Visit

Allison and I were lucky enough to get tickets to see President Obama give the Kalamazoo Central class of 2010 commencement speach. The energy in the arena was like nothing I've ever felt before. Regardless of your feelings of Obama, he is our President. And how often are we ever going to be in the same "room" as the President of the United States! It was a great honor for those graduates to hear the speach and shake hands and hug the President. I feel very blessed to have been able to be present while history was being made!

Good-bye is Hard

Greg lost his best friend this week. John was an amazing guy. Always smiling and joking. Always there for Greg. They fished and hunted together. They started out racing go-carts, then remote control cars and then stock cars. They dirt biked together. They worked on other peoples race cars and Greg's drag race car together. They talked about everything. We vacationed with them and had many wonderful times together as families and couples. John and Greg were truly best friends. John passed away on Sunday. His funeral was yesterday. It's been a hell of a week. A week of crying, anger and trying to understand. Probably the most emotional week I've ever had. Please pray for John's family. And please pray for Greg.
