So, here I am... the baddest blogger! I should get an award! I have been busy, overwhelmed and just too pooped to post!
So, here's the latest scoop. My dad came home from the hospital on April 14th! The first week was rough. But, he is getting better every day. Today I went at lunch time and he was dressed! This was a first in eight weeks! For the last several days he has been able to get his breakfast and lunch and we've been taking turns having dinner with him. I try to go at lunch most days too. I'm so thankful that he is home and recovering.
I've tried to be crafty lately, but feel like I haven't accomplished too much. I made several more breast cancer thank you cards for Susan, a few birthday cards and a couple of pieces of jewlery. I just don't remember to take photos!
Today is a beautiful day. I'm hopefuly to have a cocktail on the deck tonight and enjoy the day outside for most of tomorrow. Yeah for springtime!!
I'll try to take more photos and be a better blogger in the next week!
It's My Life. It's no where near perfect. It isn't easy. But, it's mine. And I love it.

Cool New Website
Check this out! Go to www.wordle.net and have fun. Just put whatever words you want with a space inbetween and it will create an image for you. If you just want one word - it's still really cool. What a great thing to add to our blogs, scrapbook pages or anything! Have fun!

Photo Tag
I"m tagging Patti and anyone else who visits my blog!
The tag how-to...
Go to the photos folder on your computer.
Go to the seventh folder of photos.
Go to the seventh photo.
Put the seventh photo on your blog along with a description.
Invite seven friends to join.
Oh how my friends will laugh at me.
My seventh folder is my Bon Jovi folder! Not only are they the photos from the concerts I've attended, but also photos I've found on line of Jon. I know... I'm a silly obsessive teenager wanna be! Oh well - it makes me happy, ok?!
This photo is one of Jon when he was on Oprah.
The band gave her one million dollars towards her housing project.
Let's see what your seventh folder holds!

FOUND!!!
Yippee!! Yesterday while cleaning, the camera was found! Greg was moving the chair to vacuum and there it was! So, yes, a child had "borrowed" it, I'm sure, but at this point I'm just thrilled to have it back!
Such fun Saturday night! Painting pottery with the MM girls. Loved it! Yummy food and drinks and great friendship. I hope I'll like my vase!
My dad seems to be feeling better. Yesterday he got up from his chair without help and the nurse took him for several walks around the halls. I think he won't have to be there the entire six weeks.
Things could be looking up!

My Dad
Here are two photos of my dad yesterday in the hospital with a very special visitor.
He loves dogs. Especially Golden Retrievers. I'm thrilled my brother happen to be there when the dog came for a visit! No wonder dad was feeling a little better yesterday!
Stress
Life is stressful right now. My dad has an infection in his blood and has been in the hospital for one week. Yesterday he was moved to the Select Care Hospital where he will stay until he can go home. He will continue to have IV antibiotics for six weeks. He is so week that he will also have to have physical therapy. He is where he needs to be and is getting the care he needs. But it is none the less stressful. I'm a worrier. It's what I seem to do best. He calls me his little mother! I've been spending every lunch hour with him at the hospital and sometimes going after work for a while too. Yesterday after he was moved to his new room, he seemed better. I hope God isn't sick of hearing from me!! The prayers lately have been constant!!
Work is insane. Our huge conference is March 23-24. I am not ready! I am really feeling the pressure, and yet, I am not in the mood to work. This is crazy! I go from thing to thing on my to do list and I cannot motivate myself to get any one thing done! I hate that about myself.
I cannot find my camera. This really upsets me. I think one of the "it wasn't me" ghosts that live in my house "borrowed" it. But of course, they say they didn't. My things seem to disappear. For instance, yesterday I had my make up concealer and today I don't. Have you ever seen make up walk out of the bathroom? My two darlings both said "I don't have it - I didn't take it". Gee, do you think Greg needed some make up? Me either. Anyway, tonights mission will be tearing the house apart looking for the camera. I will cry if it is gone. Cry huge crocodile tears.
At least the temperature outside is nice! It was 55 when I left the house this morning. I could get used to that!
I've been crafty every evening this week. It really helps me to relax. I made about 40 thank you cards for my friend Susan who is fighting breast cancer. I was thrilled that she asked me to do this for her. Right up my alley!!! And I've also been in the beading mood. Two nights ago I tried my hand at a wire wrapped ring. It isn't perfect and I want to play more with it. I made the first one too big. Back to the drawing board - but I love the "idea" of it. I just need to perfect it. And last night I made a necklace. So different than anything I've made - kind of a cluster of beads. Just LOVE it! I see many more of these with very cool beads in my future!
Any American Idol Fans? I'm thrilled that Matt Giraud made it! Our Kalamazoo boy did us proud last night! It was very exciting! I think I'd better try to focus on my work. Before I know it, it will be lunch time and I'll be headed to the hospital for my Young and Restless visit with daddy!
